Drivers who want to increase available trunk space and reduce overall weight of their vehicles, should go for the Kumho T121 Tempspare tire.  Engineers intended that the T121 tires be used for Original Equipment (OE) applications as replacement for full-size spare tires and wheels. T121 spare tires enable drivers to regain temporary mobility if there is a puncture, cut, or blow out on original tires, and they are useful for road hazard during an accident. Kumho T121 spare tires are designed as temporary tires, specifically for emergency times only. They are lighter, smaller, with narrower treads and shallower tread depths than the standard tires the vehicle normally comes with.  Since the Kumho T 121 is lighter than the normal tire, they must keep up with the cold tire inflation pressures of 60 psi, which restricts the driving speed to no more than 50 mph.  The T121 are temporary/compact spare tires that do not include a wheel.
